Hooray we all made it through the longest January ever!!!

If you didn’t already know I took most of 2023 off to do some training in IFS (parts work), yoga, coaching and some human design. My goal is to bring you a well rounded version of astrology that works with other spiritual modalities and modern therapy methods to be of better assistance to my clients!

At my core I still am a Vedic Sidereal Astrologer though so here is my forecast for the month of February, buckle up its a serious month!

We begin the month with Imbolc, a pagan celebration marking the midway point of winter and the beginning of spring. I was seeing lots of daffodils coming up on my morning walk so ready or not it is here! Spinning the Wheel podcast has much more information available for FREE if you want to deep dive into this tradition.

We begin this month with the Sun and Mercury joining Pluto in Capricorn. Mars will join on the 5th and Venus will later this month on the 11th. This means the Stellium (group of 3 or more planets) will move from playful, philosophical Sagittarius to serious, hard working Capricorn. In addition to that by the 2nd week of the month the final dispositor (lord of the planets location) for all planets will be Saturn. If that’s not enough, Mars is Exalted in Capricorn, making it very powerful. This is a month to buckle down, work hard, plan for the future and take it easy on yourself. Nothing will move as fast as we want, but if we do the work we will get there. All planets are direct now so we will want to do the work, our job is just to figure out what we need to get there and do it. Mars is the ancient ruler of Agriculture and Saturn favors work so if you want to grow something I highly recommend it, anything you start this month will bode well for the future. Put in those raised beds or container gardens. Or even just finally get around to growing some microgreens on the windowsill!

Sun enters Aquarius on the 13th and Mercury joins on the 19th, they will travel very closely the rest of the month. This may cause communication and tech issues so plan accordingly. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn as well in Vedic Astrology so again, keep up the work.

Feb 1- Mercury enters Capricorn

Feb 5- Mars enters Capricorn

Feb 7- Ketu enters Hasta (more on this later)

Feb 9- New Moon in Capricorn (Dhanishta, more on this later)

Feb 10- Lunar new year- year of the Yang Wood Dragon (more on this later)

Feb 11- Venus enters Capricorn

Feb 13-14- Vasant Panchami- Very favorable day to start something new

Feb 13- Sun enters Aquarius- Happy Solar Return to all our Aquarian friends!

Feb 14- Mars conjunct Pluto (sudden aggressive action, starting something new, impulsivity)

Feb 17th- Venus conjunct Pluto in Capricorn (sudden money changes)

Feb 19- Mercury enters Aquarius

Feb 22-Mar 2- Mars and Venus Conjunction in Capricorn

This day is also the day of the exact Pluto return (the first one there is a retrograde later) for the USA. I suspect this conjunction over Pluto will make for a spicy time for the US and its inhabitants. Be slow and methodical and probably best to avoid the media and large crowds at this time.

Feb 24-Full moon in Leo(Magha, also more on this later)

Feb 28- Sun, Mercury and Saturn conjunction- this may cause strain, worry and issues with authority

Feb 29- Leap year day. This is a day traditionally for women to take initiative and ask for what they want!
